Herbert Rubenfeld is a graduate of City College of the City of New York with an accounting degree (B.B.A.) and Brooklyn Law School (J.D.). He also attended New York University Graduate School of Law. Mr. Rubenfeld became a CPA in New York State in 1959 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1960.

          Being both a CPA and  Attorney, gives him an advantage to evaluate high income individuals and businesses with respect to division of property in a divorce as well as support requirements.

          He is married and has 8 grand children with whom he loves to spend time with. He is active in Boating Organizations (PAST COMMANDER IN THE UNITED STATES POWER SQUADRONS AND FORMER COMMANDER IN THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD AUXILIARY).   He is a certified as an instructor to teach safe boating classes to the public.

           Herbert Rubenfeld has devoted his career to matrimonial law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, and the Suffolk County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Matrimonial and Family Law Committees of both local bar associations. Mr. Rubenfeld is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He served as an evaluator for the Early Neutral Evaluation Program in Nassau County for Matrimonials.
